I have recently came across this wonderful person named Marissa of Delightful Digitals.  In the past 2 days she has custom made me 2 different and very opposite digital paper packs for some of my upcoming theme parties. Sometimes when you are designing a party it is hard to find a certain unique item and thats when you turn to a custom product designed just for you.  Well she delivered more then I could have ever expected.  Take a peek at what she has done for me.  I cannot wait to start on these parties and the final product.

Ribbon Cake

When I first seen a ribbon cake I fell in love with them.  Thought really how hard could it be to make one.  So I gave it a try today and I'm sure with a few more practice turns I'll get it down perfect.  To be honest it really didn't turn out that bad with all things considering.  I'm not a cake decorator and have failed many times in the past but I'm pretty proud of myself today for trying.  So what do you think?

Outdoor/Woodland Party

A simple take on a outdoor/woodland birthday party for twin 5 year old boys.  The natural setting was really on the decor needed in this party.  Brown table cloths accented with orange accessories was the perfect setting.  Cat tails and wild grasses were used for the centerpieces and smore favors were a hit for the guests. Corn stalks swayed in the breeze and made for the perfect companion for the Camp 5 sign as guests entered the party.  Fish nets were used around the dining area with orange light aglow at night.   A owl cake stood tall for each boy and a larger one for the guests.  Easy mud pies and a small variety of candy finished off the dessert table.

Ooh la la

A parisian theme 8th birthday party.  Every girls dream! By the lakeside.  The girls had their own little glamour table where they could make themselves even more beautiful.  Black and pink feather boa toparies on each dinner table.  The dinner menu was a complete French inspired theme with chocolately desserts on the dessert table.

Down on the Farm

Yee haw, were having a 4th birthday twin bash down on the farm.  From old milk jars to homebaked goodies and candied apples, the boys were sure to have a blast.  Tractors sat on top of cakes that ressemble dairy cows and sunflower seeds for the adults.

Mother's Day

With Mother's Day fast approaching, I decided to do something special this year.  I am hosting the first annual Mother's/Daughter's Day Luncheon.  Mom and daughter can sit back kick up their feet and enjoy a foot soak, facial.....Well we can't give it all away just yet.  Oh did I mention white glove service too.  Here's a sneak peek of the invitation I designed.

I just love this color.  Lavender paper with a organza lavender overlay, tied with a simple twine bow.  Watch for more updates and complete story soon.

Pastel Easter { Real Parties }

For this Easter I hosted a Pastel Easter Palette.  Old milk jars tied with a ribbon and filled with pink milk graced the centre table along side a vase filled with pussy willows and pastel Easter eggs.  Reused juice bottles also tied with coordinating ribbon was the cup of choice with a butterfly straw.  Chicken wire egg nests made their homes on the clear guest plates and filled with moss and robins eggs.  A pink tulle wreath hung with the pastel streamers was the perfect backdrop for this scene and  an old raggedy barn board painted with pastel colours directed the way to the egg hunt. Easter Bunny himself made a appearance for dessert.

I just loved making these Robin's Nests.  They looked so adorable on the plates.

Meet the chicks which were a huge part of this part this gathering.....

And so was Easter Bunny....everyone wanted his tail!

I am a firm believer of reclaiming, recycle and reusing, so it was only natural to use it within the party.  Recycled juice bottles tied with a ribbon made for perfect cups.  Old milk jars, which held the pretty pink milk and reclaimed barn board for the sign just added the right touch.  Also used was the reused cleansed chicken wire and an old horseshoe nail box elevated the centrepiece in the middle of the table.
